Big Sunday – Next Sunday is the first Sunday of the month, which means it is BIG SUNDAY! It will be a Family Service so all the children will be in service with us…AND…it will be OUTSIDE! Big Sunday is also a potluck breakfast, and all are welcome (encouraged) to participate. If you’re able to bring a breakfast dish to share with the congregation, please bring it by 9:30am so we can enjoy it before service.
Military Date Night – We are going to host a Date Night for active duty families in May! We will provide a gift card for the parents to go eat a nice meal while their kids enjoy an evening of fun with us! The details are still in the works, in fact, we’re looking to form a planning team to help make this event special! If you’re interested, text Trace right now (or soon) (760) 505-0843. Also, if you’re able to help serve at the event, please mark your calendar. Saturday, May 21st 5:00-8:00pm.
Members Meeting – In a few weeks we will be holding our quarterly members meeting. It will be on May 15th following service and will be a potluck style lunch. Please make plans to join us as we discuss important church matters and get updates on how God is at work at Pillar Oceanside. This meeting is for those who are official members of the church and those who are in the membership process as well.
Life Groups – Our Life Groups play a significant role in the life of believers. As their name suggests, we are literally “doing life” with one another. It’s in these smaller groups where relationships are deepened and the opportunity for biblical fellowship increases from Sunday morning interactions. Here are our groups:
Friday Nights in San Onofre – Hosted and facilitated by the Rynishes, north side of Camp Pendleton, Discovery Bible Study, 6pm, potluck meal
Friday Nights in Oceanside – Hosted and facilitated by the Massies, Oceanside, studying through the Sermon on the Mount, 6pm, potluck meal

Fight Clubs are same-gender groups of about three people encouraging each other to live a life aligned with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to love Jesus more, through our affection for him and our allegiance to him, by helping each other rehearse the gospel and fight sin. Fight Clubs strive to meet at least twice a month for an intentional, focused time devoted to the word and genuine fellowship. For more information or to sign up contact:
