Life Groups – This season, we’re coming together for one dynamic group meeting every Wednesday. Dinner is served at 6pm with study to follow. Don’t miss out—everyone is welcome! This week we are combing Life Group and Aftershock Youth together! We will meet at the Furtado’s home in Oceanside. Check the Band app for more details, and let’s grow together!
Sabado Gigante -Next week we’re back on with our “First Saturday” festivities. Here’s what you can expect:
– Treehouse class will be joining us in service. Be sure to take notes (there are sheets printed for you on the book table). If you bring your notes to show Mrs. Clement after service, you can choose something from the Treasure Box!
– After Service Potluck Dinner! If you would like to bring a dinner item or dish to share after church, you are encouraged to do so! If you’re able to bring a dish to share with the congregation, you can drop it off in the fellowship hall before service.
– Grab a name tag from the Welcome Table. We want to take the opportunity each month to have a visual on those names you need a little help remembering.
Easter – We will be joining with FBC San Luis for a combined Easter service on Sunday April 20th. We will celebrate, worship, and eat together (potluck after service) for what we pray will be a time of great encouragement and joy. We will also be having a Good Friday service at the church on Friday April 18th at 5:30pm. All are welcome! Please prayerfully consider inviting family, neighbors, friends, co-workers, etc.
As a part of our combined Easter service with First Baptist Church of San Luis Rey on Sunday April 20th, we’re doing an egg hunt for the kids. We have plenty of plastic eggs, we’re just looking for donations to fill the eggs themselves. Please consider donating some of the following items that would fit in a standard plastic egg: small toys like bouncy balls, finger puppets, mini cars, hand stamps, stickers, and of course wrapped candy. Collecting over the next two weeks at church. Thanks!
Membership Class – Have you thought about taking the next steps of getting more connected at Pillar Church? Well, that first step is to attend our Group Life membership class. Come here more about what we believe, how we’re structured, and ask any questions you may have about Pillar! The class will be after church on Saturday, April 12th from 6-7:30pm and dinner will be provided. RSVP here.
Fight Clubs are same-gender groups of about three people encouraging each other to live a life aligned with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to love Jesus more, through our affection for and our allegiance to him, by helping each other rehearse the gospel and fight sin. Fight Clubs strive to meet at least twice a month for an intentional, focused time devoted to the word and genuine fellowship. For more information or to sign up contact:
