Libby Lake August Outreach
It’s Time! Our next main evangelistic effort will be targeting apartment complexes near the church for spiritual engagement/development.

What does that mean? It means praying over the complexes, praying for the workers going out, being a worker who goes out, or participation in weekly TotalFit Defense classes we’ll offer in August. We’ve been praying around the neighborhood and we turned to the full engagement and prayer effort on 8/3 and will run throughout August. There are more details in the link below.

Member’s Meeting – Our next quarterly members’ meeting will be TODAY, August 4th, immediately following service. It will be a quick meeting, the main topic of which will be our 10-year anniversary celebration. We’ll also discuss our fasting rhythms and our focus for the remainder of the year. 

Come Hungry – The next Come Hungry will be August 11th at Melba Bishop Park and hosted by the Johnsons. Brian and Arlene are cooking up some Kansas City BBQ and it’s gonna be a good time. 

Come Hungry Schedule:

Foundations of Faith – Our Foundations of Faith was rescheduled for August 9th at 6pm. We will meet at the Young’s house. This class will address the process for studying the Bible, and will be 1 session. The class will be approximately 90 minutes. Childcare WILL be provided. Please RSVP in Band (link here)

We need volunteers! If you are not serving yet, would you consider getting plugged into one of our ministry areas?

Fight Clubs are same-gender groups of about three people encouraging each other to live a life aligned with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to love Jesus more, through our affection for him and our allegiance to him, by helping each other rehearse the gospel and fight sin. Fight Clubs strive to meet at least twice a month for an intentional, focused time devoted to the word and genuine fellowship. For more information or to sign up contact:
