Neighborhood Spotlight – God is at work. We’ve labored in prayer for the Riverview Townhomes community and the 50 homes there. We’ve interacted with many people and have had some amazing conversations. We’ve gotten to know some of the believers there and prayed with many families as well. Please continue to pray. It’s not sideline work, it is essential in order to see God’s continued work there. Pray for God to stir in hearts and to prepare the way for us to be his hands and feet there. Pray for miracles. Pray for breakthroughs. Pray for every soul that lives behind each and every door.
This week we’ll be going out Thursday, August 10th from 5:30-6:30pm knocking on doors and conducting the spiritual survey. We’ll be starting in the Del Rio parking, please connect with Pastor Trace if you’re interested in joining us!
Come Hungry – Come Hungry is TODAY, Sunday, August 6, at Melba Bishop Park, directly after service. It will be hosted by Keanu Zavala and Taliek Brown, and they’ll be serving up carne asada. We’ll also be setting up cornhole to get ready for our tournament at the end of August. Bring a side dish or dessert to share and be ready to fellowship together! Please note, that next week is also BIG SUNDAY, but we will not be doing potluck breakfast. Save your appetite for lunch at the park!
Every summer we enjoy a time of food and fellowship every other Sunday through August! This is a time of year when we get to enjoy eating, playing games, and getting to know each other. Each Come Hungry will be “hosted” by a family in the church who will choose the theme and provide the main dish. Everyone else will bring a side dish, dessert, or drinks to share with the group.
Coffee Collection – We’re collecting K-Cups for the Del Rio break room. We’d love to bless the teachers and staff at the beginning of their school year–next week we’ll be taking any donations of k-cups, individual creamers, stirrers, hot chocolate, biscotti, or anything else you’d like to contribute!
Members’ Meeting – We will be holding our quarterly members’ meeting Sunday, August 13th following service (no lunch, we’re planning on a relatively quick gathering). This meeting is for those who are official members of the church and those who are in the membership process as well.

Fight Clubs are same-gender groups of about three people encouraging each other to live a life aligned with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to love Jesus more, through our affection for him and our allegiance to him, by helping each other rehearse the gospel and fight sin.
