Prayer Focus of the Week: Pillar San Antonio

Scripture Reading: Philippians 2:5–11 (ESV)

5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Blockout DatesIf you are serving or plan on serving at Pillar Church over the next 3 months, we ask that you go into Planning Center or the Services app and enter any blockout dates you may have during January, February, and March. We need all blockout dates in by Sunday, December 11, so we can work on schedules. If you have not received a blockout date email or have not signed up for Planning Center/Services yet, please contact Kristy Martinez at (760) 505-2928 or [email protected]. If you aren’t serving yet but would like to, please let one of the elders or ministry leaders know!

Life Groups – Our Life Groups play a significant role in the life of believers. As their name suggests, we are literally “doing life” with one another. It’s in these smaller groups where relationships are deepened and the opportunity for biblical fellowship increases from Sunday morning interactions.

Our Fall Life Group session is at the Massie home, 1615 Calle Las Casas in Oceanside, at 6pm every Friday and we’ll be studying through select Old Testament books. Please check BAND for more details. If you are not on the church’s Band account, please sign up–this is where we post meals and Life Group info.

Giving – There are several ways to give at Pillar Church. Click here to give online, or you may drop your offering in the box located on the Welcome Table. Thank you for your contribution!

Fight Clubs are same-gender groups of about three people encouraging each other to live a life aligned with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to love Jesus more, through our affection for him and our allegiance to him, by helping each other rehearse the gospel and fight sin. Fight Clubs strive to meet at least twice a month for an intentional, focused time devoted to the word and genuine fellowship. For more information or to sign up contact:
