Libby Lake August Outreach
A few weeks ago we talked a lot about developing a culture of evangelism, followed by some classes on the practical “how-to’s” of sharing your faith. Our next main effort will be targeting an apartment complex near the church for spiritual engagement/development.

What does that mean? It means praying over the complex, praying for the workers going out, being a worker who goes out, or participation in weekly TotalFit Defense classes we’ll offer in August. We’ll be praying around the neighborhood (just prayer, no direct engagement) 7/23 from 3:30-5pm & 7/27 from 4-5:30pm, then we’ll turn to the full engagement and prayer effort starting 7/30 and running throughout August. Member’s Meeting – Our next quarterly members meeting will be on August 4th, immediately following service. It will be a quick meeting with the main topic being our 10-year anniversary celebration. We’ll also discuss our fasting rhythms and our focus for the remainder of the year. 

Come Hungry – The next Come Hungry is 28 July at the Martin’s home. The theme for this Come Hungry is Italian! Location is 4528 Arbor Glen Way, Oceanside. 

Come Hungry Schedule:

Foundations of Faith – Our summer classes, Foundations of Faith, will continue on August 2nd at 6pm. We will meet at the Young’s house. This class will address the process for studying the Bible, and will be 1 session. The class will be approximately 90 minutes. Childcare WILL be provided.

Volunteers – 
We need volunteers! If you are not serving yet, would you consider getting plugged into one of our ministry areas?

Fight Clubs are same-gender groups of about three people encouraging each other to live a life aligned with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to love Jesus more, through our affection for him and our allegiance to him, by helping each other rehearse the gospel and fight sin. Fight Clubs strive to meet at least twice a month for an intentional, focused time devoted to the word and genuine fellowship. For more information or to sign up contact:
