What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? 2 You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. 4 You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5 Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”? 6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Fasting – We’re into our month of fasting. Please join with us in praying per the document here. If you missed Pastor Trace’s message on fasting, please listen to it here!
PUSH Week – Here in North County, several groups of disciple-makers will be participating in various activities over the course of our Push Week, which is March 18th – 24th. For our area we have a few options available, but you are free to use any avenues you’d like. The goal is to engage the people around us in ways that a conversation takes place that helps us to know if they are a potential person of peace. The hope is that we can find these people and begin a discipleship relationship with them. Our main effort will be thru daily prayer walks, Monday-Friday 4:30-6:30pm, and a kids sports camp on Saturday the 23rd from 11am-2pm. The entire week will culminate with a BBQ gathering on 3/24, celebrating what God did during the week! Please let Trace know how you’d like to participate or if you have any questions about it.
Good Friday Meal – On March 29th, Good Friday, we will be gathering to share a meal together and reading the passion week story. The location is TBD, but if you’ve got space and would like to host, please speak with Trace,
Life Groups – Our Life Groups are on break and will return the first week of April!
Volunteers – We need volunteers! If you are not serving yet, would you consider getting plugged into one of our ministry areas?

Fight Clubs are same-gender groups of about three people encouraging each other to live a life aligned with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to love Jesus more, through our affection for him and our allegiance to him, by helping each other rehearse the gospel and fight sin. Fight Clubs strive to meet at least twice a month for an intentional, focused time devoted to the word and genuine fellowship. For more information or to sign up contact:
