Life Groups – Wednesdays at the Furtados – 6:30pm for a sermon-based study in Oceanside each Wednesday night. We will have a potluck dinner at our next group on March 25th. Sign-up here. Then we’ll take a “spring break” on 1 & 8 April and be back together on April 15th.
Men’s Group – The next monthly gathering for the men of Pillar is Saturday March 28th at Trace’s house at 8am. We’re diving into the Lord’s Prayer this month. Breakfast provided! RSVP here.
Block Out Dates – As we look to the new quarter of serving at Pillar, we are asking that all volunteers blockout any known periods of unavailability for April, May, June 2026. We totally understand that life happens and sometimes significant events pop up, but please blockout any current conflicts for Saturday evenings. If you’re unsure of how do that, please see this helpful article. Please enter those dates by Sunday, March 22nd.
Easter -This Easter season we have a few things happening. First, we have our Good Friday service at the church on April 3rd at 5:30pm. This will be a condensed, family service and all are welcome to join! Second, we have our Prayer Campaign at 10am the first Saturday of the month, April 4th. This will also serve as an opportunity to invite people to our Easter service the following morning. Lastly, we have our Resurrection Sunday service on Sunday April 5th at 10am at Melba Bishop Park. Following our outdoor service, we’ll have an egg hunt for the kids. We’re looking for volunteers to help with the coordination and set-up/logistics of this service. That team will meet after church this Saturday. We’re also collecting small toys and wrapped candy to fill the standard size plastic Easter eggs for our egg hunt after service. We’re collecting items the next TWO Saturdays, please help us if you can.
Four:Six Prayer – Each Saturday at 4:06 PM, we set aside time to pray together before service. Rooted in Philippians 4:6, this gathering is about more than just a pre-service ritual—it’s a moment to pause, refocus, and re-center our hearts on the presence and peace of God. As we bring our gratitude and our needs before Him, we prepare ourselves to worship in unity and expectation. This intentional rhythm reminds us that prayer isn’t the backup plan—it’s the starting place. Everyone is invited to join.
Fight Clubs are same-gender groups of about three people encouraging each other to live a life aligned with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to love Jesus more, through our affection for and our allegiance to him, by helping each other rehearse the gospel and fight sin. Fight Clubs strive to meet at least twice a month for an intentional, focused time devoted to the word and genuine fellowship. For more information or to sign up contact:
