–Scripture Reading:Isaiah 12:1–6 (ESV):
12 You will say in that day:
“I will give thanks to you, O LORD,
for though you were angry with me,
your anger turned away,
that you might comfort me.
2 “Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation.”
3 With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. 4 And you will say in that day:
“Give thanks to the LORD,
call upon his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples,
proclaim that his name is exalted.
5 “Sing praises to the LORD, for he has done gloriously;
let this be made known in all the earth.
6 Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion,
for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”

Group Life Membership Class – Today after church we will be offering our membership class over lunch. This is the first step in becoming a member at Pillar and covers the basics of who we are as a church. If you’re interested, please let Trace know ASAP. Lunch will be provided.
Thanksgiving Meals – One of our partner ministries, TriCity Pantry, is giving away the full fixings for a wonderful Thanksgiving meal. They have a goal of blessing 300 families and the wheels are in motion to make that happen. These families will be preregistered for pick-up, but we need help at the various distribution and packing sites. Please take a look at this list and volunteer if you’re able:

Members’ Meeting – We have our quarterly members’ meeting scheduled for Sunday, December 4th following service. The meeting will be at the Martins’ home in Oceanside and lunch will be provided. Please make plans to join us if you are a current member or are in the process of becoming a member.
Life Groups –There is no Life Group this week! Happy Thanksgiving!
Our Life Groups play a significant role in the life of believers. As their name suggests, we are literally “doing life” with one another. It’s in these smaller groups where relationships are deepened and the opportunity for biblical fellowship increases from Sunday morning interactions.
Our Fall Life Group session is at the Massie home, 1615 Calle Las Casas in Oceanside, at 6pm every Friday and we’ll be studying through select Old Testament books. Please check BAND for more details. If you are not on the church’s Band account, please sign up–this is where we post meals and Life Group info.

Fight Clubs are same-gender groups of about three people encouraging each other to live a life aligned with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to love Jesus more, through our affection for him and our allegiance to him, by helping each other rehearse the gospel and fight sin. Fight Clubs strive to meet at least twice a month for an intentional, focused time devoted to the word and genuine fellowship. For more information or to sign up contact:
