Fellowship Meal–
This is a chance to meet and fellowship with the people at FBC San Luis Rey. We will be gathering and sharing a meal after church on the 24th of November. As a church we will bring 1 Turkey, 1 Ham, and all the sides/desserts we can handle! Please RSVP in BAND with the TOTAL number in your party and what you will be bringing. We don’t know what the Lord has planned for our two churches, but we do know this is the first step in finding out. Thanks family!

Christmas Blessing – We are working with our children’s ministry to bless a family this Christmas! Here are the details:

1. We are partnering with Operation HOPE to bless a family with gifts at Christmas.
2. This is a way to serve needs outside of our church, and really be the hands and feet of Jesus.
3. There will be a Christmas tree set up soon with tags hanging from it. Please take a tag, buy the gift indicated on it, and return the item WITH that tag to Kimberlee.
4. Gifts are capped at a $25 maximum.
5. Gifts are due no later than December 14th.
6. Children’s Ministry is heading this but we are asking the entire church take the opportunity to get involved.

Life Groups– These groups are the place to grow deep in the word and in fellowship. Here is the basic info on our groups, with more info available on Band.

Fridays @ the Cloers’ – This group is on base, 232 Russell St, and will be geared toward young adults, but open to everyone. They meet for dinner and study at 6:30pm.

Fridays @ the Martins‘ – This group is off base, 4528 Arbor Glen Way, and open to everyone. They also meet for dinner and study at 6:30pm.

Friday – Aftershock Youth – This is for our youth group students who will meet at the Furtados’ home in Oceanside, 155 McKinley, at 6:30pm.

Volunteers – 
We need volunteers! If you are not serving yet, would you consider getting plugged into one of our ministry areas?

• Sound & Media Team – If you have any experience running a soundboard (or would like to get trained) or would be interested in joining our Media Team (preparing and running the slides each Sunday during service), please contact Trace Martinez at 760-505-0843 or [email protected].

Fight Clubs are same-gender groups of about three people encouraging each other to live a life aligned with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to love Jesus more, through our affection for him and our allegiance to him, by helping each other rehearse the gospel and fight sin. Fight Clubs strive to meet at least twice a month for an intentional, focused time devoted to the word and genuine fellowship. For more information or to sign up contact:
