Gather & Grow -The first Saturday of the month, TODAY, is a time where we intentionally seek to connect and learn together.  In addition to our usual gathering you can expect to see name tags, youth/treehouse in service with us, and a potluck dinner after service. This is a time to come together for fellowship, as well as discuss the happenings of the church as we head into the next season. All are invited! 

Fasting – Join us for Corporate Fasting! During the first week of this month, we will set aside time as a church family for prayer and fasting. Here’s the plan:
   -Pick one day during the week of October 5-11 to fast for 24 hours.
   -Use the fasting guide and prayer list we’ve provided to help you focus your time with the Lord.
   -Pray through the specific topics together with the rest of the church, even as you fast individually.
   -Use BAND chat to share anything you hear from the Lord (link here)
Fasting is a way for us to seek God’s presence, depend on Him more deeply, and unite our hearts in prayer. We’d love for you to be part of this month’s effort—choose your day, lean into the guide, and let’s pursue God together.

Faith & Blue – Faith & Blue was launched to facilitate safer, stronger, more just and unified communities by directly enabling local partnerships among law enforcement professionals, residents, businesses and community groups through the connections of local faith-based organizations. This year, the Oceanside Police Department is partnering with local churches to collect items on behalf of Women’s Resource Center in Oceanside. They are accepting a variety of donations, CLICK HERE for a full list. You can bring items here to the church by October 11th or drop them at the Oceanside Police Department. 

Ladies Group – Ladies! You’ve been asking and the time is near. On October 25th, we will begin our monthly gathering. Please make plans to join us at 9am at SLR for fellowship and an opportunity to delve into God’s Word. RSVP Here. See you there!

Life Groups – Life Groups have been an important part of the church since it’s beginning. These regular, mid-week gatherings serve as a place to build deeper relationships, develop leaders, and grow in our understanding of God’s Word. Currently we have one group that meets every other Wednesday with a meal and bible study. This group will be held at the Furtado’s home in Oceanside, you can find more information here. Next group is on October 8th.

ManDown One-Day – This year we are holding a 1-day version of ManDown on Saturday October 18th from 9am-1pm at supporting church in Moreno Valley (about an hour away, we’ll carpool). The theme this year is Devoted to Prayer, and we anticipate the Lord to move mightily in and through the men of our 3 SoCal Pillar Church locations. We will have a time of fellowship, singing, teaching, food, and of course the Pillar Olympics. It’ll be $20 a person to cover the cost of food and supplies and you can REGISTER HERE. Four:Six Prayer – Each Saturday at 4:06 PM, we set aside time to pray together before service. Rooted in Philippians 4:6, this gathering is about more than just a pre-service ritual—it’s a moment to pause, refocus, and re-center our hearts on the presence and peace of God. As we bring our gratitude and our needs before Him, we prepare ourselves to worship in unity and expectation. This intentional rhythm reminds us that prayer isn’t the backup plan—it’s the starting place. Everyone is invited to join.

Fight Clubs are same-gender groups of about three people encouraging each other to live a life aligned with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to love Jesus more, through our affection for and our allegiance to him, by helping each other rehearse the gospel and fight sin. Fight Clubs strive to meet at least twice a month for an intentional, focused time devoted to the word and genuine fellowship. For more information or to sign up contact:
