Block Out Dates– As we look to the new quarter of serving at Pillar, we are asking that all volunteers blockout any known periods of unavailability for January, February, and March 2026. We totally understand that life happens and sometimes significant events pop up, but please blockout any current conflicts for Saturday evenings. If you’re unsure of how do that, please see this helpful article. Please enter those dates by Wednesday, December 17th.

Members’ Meeting – It’s that time of year where we will vote on our annual church budget. Members of the church have been emailed the proposed 2026 budget (check your spam folder) and we ask that you review it. If you have any questions, please direct them to Trace, Michael, or Stephen. We will hold a special members’ meeting on December 13th after service where we will briefly discuss and then vote to approve the proposed budget. 

Gather & Grow – The first Saturday of the month is a time where we intentionally seek to connect and learn together. In addition to our usual gathering you can expect to see name tags, youth/treehouse in service with us, and a potluck dinner after service. This is a great time to come together for fellowship. All are invited TONIGHT.

Ladies Group – The ladies are gathering to continue in their fellowship and study of the book Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life by Donald Whitney. Saturday December 20th at the church. More info coming soon on this Christmas edition of the gathering. RSVP here.

Christmas Blessing – Each year we look for ways to bless our community around Christmas time and meet needs in very tangible ways. As in years past, we have connected with Del Rio elementary school and they have given us 5 families who are in particular need. We are gathering details for each family and then collectively as a church we will provide gifts for them all. Please be in prayer for this opportunity to shine the light and love of Christ on these families. 

Life Groups – Life Groups have been an important part of the church since it’s beginning. These regular, mid-week gatherings serve as a place to build deeper relationships, develop leaders, and grow in our understanding of God’s Word. Currently we have one group that meets every other Wednesday with a meal and bible study. This group will be held at the Furtado’s home in Oceanside, you can find more information here. Next group is on December 17th.

Four:Six Prayer – Each Saturday at 4:06 PM, we set aside time to pray together before service. Rooted in Philippians 4:6, this gathering is about more than just a pre-service ritual—it’s a moment to pause, refocus, and re-center our hearts on the presence and peace of God. As we bring our gratitude and our needs before Him, we prepare ourselves to worship in unity and expectation. This intentional rhythm reminds us that prayer isn’t the backup plan—it’s the starting place. Everyone is invited to join.

Fight Clubs are same-gender groups of about three people encouraging each other to live a life aligned with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to love Jesus more, through our affection for and our allegiance to him, by helping each other rehearse the gospel and fight sin. Fight Clubs strive to meet at least twice a month for an intentional, focused time devoted to the word and genuine fellowship. For more information or to sign up contact:
