Life Groups – This group meets at the Martin’s home for dinner at 6pm, and at 6:45pm we’re doing a sermon text preview—studying and discussing the Scripture passage that will be preached the following Saturday. You can get the address and in Band if you plan on joining. RSVP here.
Clay Date – The ladies will be meeting on Monday, November 2 (time TBD, but late afternoon/early evening) at Clay n’ Latte in Vista for some girl time. Please contact Kristy if you would like to attend or have any questions.
Prayer Campaign – On Saturday, November 7th at 10 a.m., we’re continuing our monthly time of engaging our community through prayer. We’re inviting everyone to take part in one of three roles happening at the same time: praying from home/the church, prayer-walking through nearby neighborhoods, or engaging neighbors in simple conversations as opportunities come. Each role supports the others, and every person can participate in a meaningful way. Our hope is to seek the Lord together and ask Him to move in the lives of the people around us. RSVP here.
Chili Cook-Off – Saturday, November 7th is a special day at Pillar Oceanside. Not only will we have our traditional first Saturday Gather & Grow, and all that entails, but we’re hosting our annual chili cook-off and cornbread competition. It’s a fun way to practice humility and grace while also leaning into that competitive spirit that lies within! The chilis and cornbreads will be our potluck main event so please bring your entry with you to church. If neither of those are your thing, bring a side, dessert, or drink to share. RSVP here.
Four:Six Prayer – Each Saturday at 4:06 PM, we set aside time to pray together before service. Rooted in Philippians 4:6, this gathering is about more than just a pre-service ritual—it’s a moment to pause, refocus, and re-center our hearts on the presence and peace of God. As we bring our gratitude and our needs before Him, we prepare ourselves to worship in unity and expectation. This intentional rhythm reminds us that prayer isn’t the backup plan—it’s the starting place. Everyone is invited to join.
