Life Groups – This group meets at the Martin’s home for dinner at 6pm, and at 6:45pm we’re doing a sermon text preview—studying and discussing the Scripture passage that will be preached the following Saturday. You can get the address and in Band if you plan on joining. RSVP here.

Members’ Meeting – We’ll be gathering after service on Saturday November 14th for a brief members’ meeting. We will discuss the 2027 budget and a few other items as well.

Chili Cook-Off – TODAY is a special day at Pillar Oceanside. Not only will we have our traditional first Saturday Gather & Grow, and all that entails, but we’re hosting our annual chili cook-off and cornbread competition. It’s a fun way to practice humility and grace while also leaning into that competitive spirit that lies within! The chilis and cornbreads will be our potluck main event so please bring your entry with you to church. If neither of those are your thing, bring a side, dessert, or drink to share.

Four:Six Prayer – Each Saturday at 4:06 PM, we set aside time to pray together before service. Rooted in Philippians 4:6, this gathering is about more than just a pre-service ritual—it’s a moment to pause, refocus, and re-center our hearts on the presence and peace of God. As we bring our gratitude and our needs before Him, we prepare ourselves to worship in unity and expectation. This intentional rhythm reminds us that prayer isn’t the backup plan—it’s the starting place. Everyone is invited to join.
