Come Hungry – Our final Come Hungry has been rescheduled to next Sunday, August 27, here at the school right after service. This will be our annual chili & cornbread cookoff and Cornhole Tournament! Whip up a batch of your best chili and/or cornbread or bring some toppings or sides (cheese, onions, fritos, rice, salad, etc) or dessert and an empty stomach! We’re looking forward to a fun and slightly competitive afternoon.

Every summer we enjoy a time of food and fellowship every other Sunday through August! This is a time of year when we get to enjoy eating, playing games, and getting to know each other. Each Come Hungry will be “hosted” by a family in the church who will choose the theme and provide the main dish. Everyone else will bring a side dish, dessert, or drinks to share with the group.

Coffee Collection – We’re collecting K-Cups for the Del Rio break room. We’d love to bless the teachers and staff at the beginning of their school year–we’ll be taking any donations of k-cups, individual creamers, stirrers, hot chocolate, biscotti, or anything else you’d like to contribute! Let Trace know ASAP if you’d like to donate something.

Mark Your Calendars – Our Men’s Retreat, ManDown, is scheduled for October 20-21. More details to come!

Giving – There are several ways to give at Pillar Church. Click here to give online, or you may drop your offering in the box located on the Welcome Table. Thank you for your contribution!

Fight Clubs are same-gender groups of about three people encouraging each other to live a life aligned with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to love Jesus more, through our affection for him and our allegiance to him, by helping each other rehearse the gospel and fight sin. Fight Clubs strive to meet at least twice a month for an intentional, focused time devoted to the word and genuine fellowship. For more information or to sign up contact:
