Scripture Reading: Colossians 2:1–5 (ESV):
For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you and for those at Laodicea and for all who have not seen me face to face, 2 that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God’s mystery, which is Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4 I say this in order that no one may delude you with plausible arguments. 5 For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ.

Announcements:
Trailer Work Day – As we anticipate moving back inside next month, it’s time to dust off the trailer and take inventory! Today following service, we’ll be having a workday as we pull everything out of the trailer, take stock, and reorganize. We are asking all ministry leaders to participate and inviting anyone who would like to help. We appreciate your help! *Ministry leaders there will be a short leadership meeting, as well, so please make plans to attend!
Blockout Dates – If you are serving or plan on serving at Pillar Church over the next 3 months, we ask that you go into Planning Center or the Services app and enter any blockout dates you may have during June, July, and August. We need all blockout dates in by Wednesday, June 9, so we can work on schedules. If you have not received a blockout date email or have not signed up for Planning Center/Services yet, please contact Kristy Martinez at [email protected]. If you aren’t serving yet but would like to, please scroll down and check out the ministry areas where we could use you!
Pillar Kids Registration – If you have a child that will be participating in the Pillar Kids Ministry (ages 0-5th grade) please fill out a children’s registration form! Please see Kristy Martinez or Tori Owens to get a registration form. We are trying to get everyone registered before June 20 so our first morning of drop-off isn’t so hectic. Our Seedlings & Saplings (ages 0-PreK) classroom will be open on June 20 beginning at 9:45am. The Treehouse classroom will have its first day on Sunday, June 27th and children will be dismissed with the teacher after worship. Treehouse will have classes on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. Please talk to Kristy Martinez if you have any questions!
It’s Come Hungry Season! – It’s time once again to Come Hungry! These church-wide events are where we gather together for a potluck meal, play sports or board games, get to know each other, and just enjoy spending time together as the church. This is also an opportunity to invite friends and neighbors that may not be ready to attend a church service but can be loved on in this very relaxed and welcoming environment.
Our kick-off Come Hungry will be on June 13th at Melba Bishop Park directly after service and will be picnic style–bring food for you and your family. In July we’ll transition to potlucks, and we’ll need hosts! Hosts will be responsible for choosing a theme for the potluck and providing a portion of the main meal, and you can either host at your home or at the park. Where Will You Serve? – On Sunday, June 20th we’re moving back inside! With moving inside, there are more moving parts and many of our ministries are starting up again. With COVID and military moves, many of those teams are starting from the ground up and we need faithful people to help serve! Would you please pray about where you can plug in and help? The following ministries are looking for volunteers:
