Prayer Focus of the Week: Leadership Development
Scripture Reading: Philippians 4:14–23 (ESV)
14 Yet it was kind of you to share my trouble. 15 And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church entered into partnership with me in giving and receiving, except you only. 16 Even in Thessalonica you sent me help for my needs once and again. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit. 18 I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. 19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. 20 To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me greet you. 22 All the saints greet you, especially those of Caesar’s household.
23 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

Big Sunday – Next Sunday is the first Sunday of the month, which means it is BIG SUNDAY! What does that mean you ask?? A few things. First, we will be having a family service–no children’s classes, all kids will be in church with us. This is a great opportunity for these young people to experience “big church”, and help them to realize that church is for them as well. They are invited to take notes in service and have their questions answered at the end! There is also a speaker outside in the courtyard for parents of littles who might need an active break.
Big Sunday is also a potluck breakfast, and all are welcome (encouraged) to participate. If you’re able to bring a breakfast dish to share with the congregation, please bring it by 9:30am so we can enjoy it before service. The remaining Sundays of the month will have coffee and danishes only.
Walk Thru the Bible – This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the structure and themes of the Old Testament. Jim Thurber is a certified instructor of this engaging and interactive material. This mini-series of classes will be held in TWO sessions. The first will be Saturday April 2nd from 10am-12pm, and the second will be Saturday April 9th from 10am-12pm. Life Groups – Our Life Groups play a significant role in the life of believers. As their name suggests, we are literally “doing life” with one another. It’s in these smaller groups where relationships are deepened and the opportunity for biblical fellowship increases from Sunday morning interactions.
Life Groups resume this week on Friday, April 1 through May 20.

Fight Clubs are same-gender groups of about three people encouraging each other to live a life aligned with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal is to love Jesus more, through our affection for him and our allegiance to him, by helping each other rehearse the gospel and fight sin.
