Prayer Focus of the Week: Deployed Members
Scripture Reading: Colossians 1:15-23 (ESV)
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. 19 For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. 21 And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, 22 he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister.
Worship Songs:
My Heart is Steadfast (Psalm 108)
My heart is steadfast O God
I’ll sing praises up to thee among the nations
I’ll give thanks to thee O Lord among the peoples
I’ll sing praises up to thee within my soul
For thy loving kindness is great above the heavens
Thy truth it reaches to the skies
Be exalted O God above the heavens
And thy glory over all the Earth
That those who love may be delivered
Save with thy right hand and answer me
Lord I Need You
Lord I come I confess
Bowing here I find my rest
And without You I fall apart
You’re the one that guides my heart
Lord I need You oh I need You
Ev’ry hour I need You
My one defense my righteousness
Oh God how I need You
Where sin runs deep Your grace is more
Where grace is found is where You are
And where You are Lord I am free
Holiness is Christ in me
Where You are Lord I am free
Holiness is Christ in me
Lord I need You oh I need You
Ev’ry hour I need You
My one defense my righteousness
Oh God how I need You
So teach my song to rise to You
When temptation comes my way
And when I cannot stand I’ll fall on You
Jesus You’re my hope and stay
And when I cannot stand I’ll fall on You
Jesus You’re my hope and stay
Lord I need You oh I need You
Ev’ry hour I need You
My one defense my righteousness
Oh God how I need You
My one defense my righteousness
Oh God how I need You

It’s Come Hungry Season! – It’s no secret we’ve all missed fellowship with each other over the last year. Thankfully, restrictions are lifting and regulations are changing, so it’s time once again to Come Hungry! These church-wide events are where we gather together for a meal, play sports or board games, get to know each other, and just enjoy spending time together as the church. This is also an opportunity to invite friends and neighbors that may not be ready to attend a church service, but can be loved on in this very relaxed and welcoming environment. We’ll be gathering the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month after church for food and fellowship. For the month of June, we’ll be doing picnic style at Melba Bishop Park–bring food for you and your family. In July and August, we’ll be looking for a few host homes, in addition to park days and moving towards potlucks. If you are interested in being a host home, please see Jacque Martin.
Where Will You Serve? – On Sunday, June 20th we’re moving back inside! With moving inside, there are more moving parts and many of our ministries are starting up again. With COVID and military moves, many of those teams are starting from the ground up and we need faithful people to help serve! Would you please pray about where you can plug in and help? The following ministries are looking for volunteers:
